Centurion house is a 150-bed purpose-built student accommodation in Bath, delivered on the former Bath Cricket Club car park.

Designed by Intersect Architects and completed by Real group in late 2022, the development brings together a full set of modern student amenities, including Studio flats, study areas, shared social space, plus indoor cricket school and gymnasium.

From technology perspective Centurion house is a standout project for its recognition as the first UK building completed using Bath Stone Base bed as rainscreen application. This approach delivers the visual of the beauty of Bath stone, while supporting contemporary performance requirements for the building facade.

The façade specification uses Park Lane Bath stone Base bed, selected for its authentic Bath character, high grain giving the detail and crisp edges for a contemporary building.
