A Stoneworld Group Company
Somerset Place is an architectural low-rise building in Bath stone, with crisp ashlar faces, accurate detailing, and a confident, traditional proportion that will stand the test of time. The stonework was supplied from our Bath Stone quarry, providing consistent colour, high performance and durability.

The stonework
Across the facade Bath stone ashlar has been used to create a contemporary, refined finish, allowing the architecture shine. Every stone has been cut with perfection to keep lines straight and junctions sharp, including:
- Ashlar walling with coursing
- Window surrounds and reveals with clean arrises
- Cornice and string course details that hold shadow and depth
On the side of the building, Cropped & Tumbled Bath stone block introduces texture and contrast, while retaining the same material properties and integrity with colour compatibility.

Why Park Lane Bath stone
Park Lane Bath stone has always been the established choice for Georgian and Regency architecture for good reason. It is workable, stable and can easily exceed 300 years of structural life. For Somerset Place, Park Lane Bath Stone provided the perfect stone for weathering courses and parapets.
The finished building presents a bright, composed façade with sharp detailing and an authentic Bath stone character. The result is traditional architecture, delivered with modern control on selection, cutting, and supply.
